Chunmee translates to precious eyebrows, the tea is sometimes also known as precious eyebrows tea because of its shape. It has a unique flavor with a chestnut note. Chhunmee is a smooth tasting green tea with a subtle lingering sweet & sour aftertaste, which some tea drinkers compared to a plum flavor. Pour water heated at approximately 90 ºC (200ºF) into the teapot, and allow the Chun Mee tea leaves to immerse for approximately 1-2 minutes. Be careful while brewing your Chun Mee tea, don’t use too hot water or the beneficial nutrients and antioxidants offered by the tea leaves will be destroyed and the resulting brew will be quite bitter and undrinkable. So make sure your water temperature never reaches the boiling point, when brewing green tea. Serving Your Chun Mei Green Tea Finally, after properly brewing the tea leaves, you can serve the brewed Chun Mei. The brewed tea will be a beautiful clear bright yellow-green color.
